Revolve Clothing has Rich and Skinny jeans in red. They are ankle length with side zips and they're pretty cute. These are the only skinny jeans I've seen in red.

just bought some sz 6 (australian, so i guess about sz25??) Lee highwaisted white skinny jeans yesterday. Even though they are tight, they look good, and I can get away with them in flats without them making my legs looks strange, or looking tacky. When I buy jeans, I always get the size I can fit into as I know they will strech a little. Since I took them home and tried them on with everything, noticed that because they are tight, they grind on my hipbones a bit! do you think this will ease after a few wears? I could exchange for the sz 7, but I like the way the 6 fits/looks. I am just unsure about whether the waistline on jeans does actually stretch, in particular with Lee jeans.
Thing is, I have never owned white jeans before, and don't know if they stretch as much as dark denim. Also, any hints on how you go out in them and preserve the white of them?

Wow, that was quick and thorough!!

Ok, so let's get down to business here. First things first, since you have a lot of dark washes, let's go with something different so everyone notices your new jeans that you splurged on! So that eliminates the New York dark wash (plus I feel like everyone and their moms has these). If you can afford to get 2 pairs - one for night and one for day - I would go with Mercer and Caribbean Extreme. I would say Glacier but it's a tad too close to Caribbean Extreme.

If you can only afford 1 pair at the moment, I say go for the Caribbean Extreme; I think it would be ideal for night or day, depending on how you wear it. During the day you can pair it with your favorite flats and one of your colorful tops. At night, pair it with a more sexy top to make it more fancy. (It's amazing how quickly a pair of jeans can go from dumpy to glamorous, depending on the shoes and accessories!)

If you're open to buying brands other than 7, here are some of my suggestions for skinny jeans since I have a pair in almost every color. I really like the ones Urban Outfitters is making right now. I have them in gray wash and nevada wash. If you have time, go into a store and try different pairs. If you're looking for something to wear especially with flats, Diesel's LIV pair in 86C wash is fantastic and so comfortable.

So to recap, out of the 7 Roxy's, I would go for the Caribbean Extreme and Mercer, although I much prefer the former. For some reason really unwashed dark jeans don't float my boat, but that's just me. And I am also a healthy 28!!

Good luck and let me know how they work out!!!
PS: If you ever want a pair of white skinnies, pleassse purchase the 7 Roxy's in white because they truly are chic!

Hope it helps,

Hi,

Thanks so much for getting back to me.

I LIVE in jeans so am always looking for both going out and day styles. i was initially drawn to the Carribean because they had an old school look.

I have lots of other skinny jeans - in Rogan, Acne etc. - and they are in dark unwashed finishes. i know this has been the style for a while, but i though something more 'blue' and denim like would be good (spec for summer). i also like that they seem rigid in that wash, with the creases.

So to answer your questions:

1. Most of my jeans are dark. though looking for something new.

2. Not sure exactly where i would be wearing them - though need new day AND night/ going out jeans at the momebnt. so maybe need to get two pairs? the ones i am not that keen on for some reason are the NY dark wash. i find seven in that wash looks old and baggy quickly. so maybe i should get the Mercer - which is totally dark unswashed, and the Carribean. Glacier also looked intersting, though lots more lycra and no creases??

3. again, both! love to wear ballet pumps. also boots. not into stilletos at the moment with skinny jeans. thinking some nice chunky MJ seventies sandals for summer (the ones with rubber soles?)

4. Love colour! wear blues, lilacs and pinks, not that into black. also think white/cream big for summer ...
thanks so much, and sorry for rambling!

PS: have you tried 'J Brand'. I think they might be good for dark?

PS: on the issue of size, i am a healthy 28, and find skinnies more flattering than bootcut/flare!

Hi there,

I personally have the white ones and they are fabulous!! I highly recommend them. Now, if you're looking for a darker pair, my suggestion would be to go with the Extreme Carribean. It all depends on how dark/light you want to go. Are you looking for something to wear casually during the day or for going out at night? Please provide me with a little more detail and I will help you choose the right pair. Also, please provide me with the following:
- what color most of your jeans are
- where you're thinking of wearing these jeans
- will you be wearing them with heel or flats?
- what color tops you normally wear

THANKS! As soon as you get me these answers, I'll help you pick the pair you should get!

[...] Going from day to night is much simpler in fashion than it is in science. In the former, all you have to do is keep one basic article (in this case skinny jeans) and change the items around it. Beats studying the universe right? Now that you got the skinny on where to find the best skinny jeans, behold two looks that will take you from primp and proper during the day to edgy and bold come night. Day Fashion Formula = Sailor-like Cardigan + White Skinny Jeans + Navy Blue Ballet Flats. Night Fashion Formula = Black and White Striped Tank + White Skinny Jeans + Wide Leather Belt + Yellow Booties. In the Daylight: Ilke Sweater | $128 at Anthropologie Seven For All Mankind Roxy Skinny Slimmer Jeans | $143 at Shopbop.com Petulant Ballerina Flats | $288 at Anthropologie When Night Falls: Stripe Tank | $11.80 at Forever 21 Wide Leather Belt | $49 at Bebe Seven For All Mankind Roxy Skinny Slimmer Jeans | $143 at Shopbop.com Lenore Booties | $288 at Anthropologie [...]
