Trendscape: Pretty in Plaid

Plaids have come a long way since Kurt Cobain’s flannel-wearing grunge days. The pattern – more grown up, mature and sophisticated – has been showing up on the runways, especially in the Fall 06 collections (Check out the plaid on the London runways, courtesy of Fashion Addict Diary). This can definitely add a little pizzazz to the neutral (and sometimes yawn-worthy) palette that are in great abundance in the average Joe’s wardrobe.
