That makes complete sense, Mimi! Although I’m here in the Bay Area, I come to LA all the time and know it doesn’t get hot enough for a heavy winter coat. In San Francisco, we need the toggle coat!

The Gap car coat is perfect for winters here in Los Angeles. It’s not easy to find something cozy and seasonal looking, yet somewhat lightweight for our 60 degree “winters.” Does that make sense? A lightweight winter coat that doesn’t keep you too warm?

Yes, thanks Robyn. I actually tried the Gap jackets above and although they are trendy and cute, they aren’t too good to keep out the cold. If you do get it, be sure to layer up.

very cute, but i bought a gap coat and it only lasted through one season. the (satin) lining is ripping. so maybe if these don’t have satin lining, they’ll be fine.
