Hi Lana,

Forever 21, Target, and H&M would be my recommendations in the $25 and below category.

I like the idea of a cute white shirt with details, but do you have any ideas as to where I could get one without spending a bunch? I'm in college and don't have much in the way of a fashion budget, so something in the $25 and below category would be great. And long sleeve would be fab too, especially for the fall.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of pairing it will yellow. Maybe it's just me, though, because I have a hard time wearing yellow with my fair skin.

I actually have a similar skirt and I pair it with a solid, cool-red blouse most of the time for a very romantic look. Girly white blouses work very well, too, to make a fun daytime outfit. I love white blouses with small puffed sleeves and some ruffles. I agree with you that details like that make this sort of outfit work. Otherwise the solid color top would look too plain.

With a white blouse I'd recommend adding some more color in the accessories. I've found that some turquoise works surprisingly well for me to add some pop without being over-powering.
