I have to say that those boots look better than my UGGS with cropped pants. I think I commit a fashion crime, but I stay warm!

Cropped pants are, by nature, a fashion challenge. The cropped hem visually shortens the length of your legs–so even if you’re tall, you don’t look as tall as you would in full-length pants. For maximum figure flattery, wear them with knee-length boots in a similar color, as pictured. Also, cropped pants tend to look better in straight-leg and skinny styles–avoid the wide-leg cropped pant look (which is scarily reminiscent of gaucho pants). Hope that helps, Jax!

I have a question: Is there any way you can make wearing cropped pants flattering? I have a pair in black, and a cute railroad striped one, but I can never seem to look decent in them, even though I’m kind of tall and skinny. What would you wear them with? etc. Thanks!

To keep your knees from freezing, try wearing long underwear underneath the cropped pants and the knee-high boots. Hope that helps, Angel!

Very often I can’t stand jeans and trousers any more, so, in such days I choose trousers that hit at mid-calf, the only one problem, sometimes my knees can freeze.
