I like it in small doses. I like all of the hats & acc but the jackets and tops are too much. It takes it from a cool Harry Potter sophisticated overseas look to gaudy 90’s when u start getting into real big patterns etc.

Houndstooth can be very elegant and ladylike, especially when the pattern is small. But it’s also so bold and graphic when the pattern is large. I love it in both forms!

i must say my favorite purchase for the season is a long black and white houndstooth coat from ann taylor…i can’t wait for the weather to cool down so i can wear it!

I like houndstooth much better than the gingham. The Houndstooth Bow Button Cardigan looks very lady-like.
