I have to say, while I haven't been a GAP fan for years...Patrick Robinson is really turning me around. Was in the SF store last weekend and bought a beautiful patterned top and a grey ruffle dress :)

Hi Trisha -- Heck, I also LOVED the Patrick Robinson for Gap runway show for Spring-Summer 09. Check it out on style.com if you haven't seen it yet. I'm super-excited about the silky pants.

Thanks, Miss Moneypenny! I'm really loving Patrick Robinson's GAP collection too. So what if it's not runway-ready fashion - the collection is full of great, well made pieces that will work for Real people :)

Having seen some negative comments about the new Patrick Robinson for Gap line -- to the effect that it was "boring" -- I was curious to check it out. I ended up buying three pieces. The quality and detailing are absolutely excellent for the price point and the coats and jackets are adorable. The skirt you've just featured is now on my list -- what a winner! I would bet that if it were sold somewhere else for $180 some of these same writers would instead be talking about how on-trend it is! Thanks for a great post!
