Fall 2009 Fashion Week Trend: Deep Blue

Deep Blue at Lela Rose, Lacoste, and Tuleh.

Style tip?  Blue is such a relaxing color, and it’s a perfect shade for cool weather days.  For the longest, leanest look, you can wear blue head to toe.  But blue doesn’t have to be boring - for more visual variety, combine different shades of blue in the same outfit, as in the Lacoste example.

What do you think?  Would you wear deep blue?  Share your thoughts in the comments!

I love these blues – I’m so glad that deep blues are back in fashion – I’ve missed them so much!

I love the shades of blue in the Lacoste and Tuleh outfits–gorgeous! And I’ve been in a blue buying phase, as well. But for some of us who went through the royal blue phase in the ’80s, it’s hard to get into the bright blue on the left.

I love basically any shady of blue. Would love to get married in the Tuleh dress 😉

That would be a lovely wedding dress, Anna – in blue or white!

I just love the richness of color. Definitely getting some more deep blue in my wardrobe for Fall (and Spring).

The Tuleh dress is amazing! Paris couture level.
Only Tuleh in New York can make a young but over the top luxurious dress that could be easily transform in the most unique wedding gow.
