I bring them into fall and winter with coordinating colored tights. a classic jacket or cardigan and tall boots. The key to making this work for me is the fabric of the dress. I try to use a seasonless jersey or light knit. It doesn't work as well on me in lighter fabrics, like linen or cotton.
