Since Winter is coming to a close, it's going to be tough to find a great looking wool jacket in stores now. I'd check J Crew and Banana Republic come Fall for something close to this jacket. In the meantime, Twelve by Twelve has a cheap chic take on the double breasted black coat (their Jewel Button Jacket) for only $38.

I love the jacket, but it's so expensive! Are there any cheaper versions that are still wool?

Oh, if only I could think rain - we got 6 inches of SNOW last night! I tend to wear skirts when it rains as I hate dragging my pant hems in the puddles, and don't generally tuck into my boots.

I know this might sound weird, but I tend to wear dresses on rainy days. There are 2 reasons: 1. I don't get any pants legs wet 2. I can automatically wear boots and not have to change my shoes all day. The added bonus, whenever I wear a dress it seems to perk up my attitude and sometimes you need a little boost when it's a yucky wet rainy day.
