All of the pieces above are somewhat fashionable other than the hoodie which I would have omitted. However all of this is very late 90’s I think I had most of this in my closet back then. Are retailers just pulling out their old overstock?

Hoodies do feel young, but they can work if paired with the right items. Another item that’s similar in function (but also for the more sophisticated set) is a loose weave knit sweater. Think of it as the Spring version of the shawl collar cardigan you got last Winter.

I don’t feel like hoodies are my style (they seem too “young”) but everything else here works for me. I even have a couple items already (the Jack Purcells and a gingham shirt), and the rest has been on my wish list for a while. These selections are basic and classic, and you can’t go wrong with that.
