When I wear an oversized blazer I keep it slim on bottom, with either skinny jeans, short dresses or shorts like I did here: http://www.thinkthrufashion.com/2009/06/ask-thinkthru-where-can-i-find-a-cute-nighttime-jacket-for-summer/

I'm with you two - I think the long blazer with no waist definition would make most people look really wide.

I wore so many oversized blazers in the late 80s/early 90s, I just don't know that I can bring myself to do it again! And I agree with Sal - fitted jackets look much better on certain shapes, like petite and curvy.

Sigh. I'm still unconvinced. I <a href="http://www.alreadypretty.com/2009/05/random-outfit-roundup-may.html" rel="nofollow">vastly prefer cropped, fitted blazers</a> for my body type!
