It will only make your thighs look huge, and your top half look huger. I suggest a close-fitting shirt/cami layered underneath a fitted sweater or v-neck cardigan, maybe worn with a skinny belt. Never wear anything with skinnies that you wouldn't wear with leggings. That means opt for a looser top and stay away from chunky shoes which can make your legs look short and stout.
