My legs are stupid long and thin. Sounds great but sometimes it’s not even flattering (chicken legs has always been my nickname)…. I find that short shorts are a must for me. Anything remotely longer accentuates how lanky I am, and not in a swanky model kind of way.
If I wear shorts, albeit short ones, tastefully…is it okay? Is it too aggressive to wear short shorts with long legs or acceptable?

There’s nothing wrong with short shorts - if you’re the right body type and (most important) keep the look tasteful. I used to wear them back in the day and loved them. But now I’m 40+ and a little heavier than I was when I was approaching 30. I’m best friends with the knee length skirt now, but I look back on my days in short shorts and wedge heeled espadrilles with fondness.

I’ve got nothing against short shorts but if the photo above is a representation of the trend then I say no….light wash denim cutoffs with a cuff, ugh, how 80’s and not in a good way. I cringe at photos of myself in this look during the 80’s and I’m not about to make them same mistake twice by adopting this trend in 2010!
