What’s hot this month, besides the weather?  Flirty sundresses (always a summer must-have), creamy pastels, browns and beiges, juxtaposed against shocking splashes of color.  Here’s Omiru’s top picks for June 2010:

1. Stripes and Light Tee | $78 at Anthropologie

2. Chromatic Canvas Shirtdress | $148 at Anthropologie

3. Lace Trim Cami | $90 at Topshop

4. Urban Renewal Gauze Open Back Dress | $58 at Urban Outfitters

5. Haya Zip Up Hoodie | $65 at J Crew

6. Kimchi Blue Linen Knot Checkbook | $18 at Urban Outfitters

7. Ombre Snake Halter Tank | $69.50 at Banana Republic

8. Wildfox Couture Malibu Girl Baggy Beach Sweatshirt | $108 at Urban Outfitters

9. La Mer Gold Hearts Wrap Watch | $120 at Urban Outfitters

Wow! What to wear this June–if you’re fifteen! Please remember that you have loyal readers who’ve left adolescence behind and who believe in the old adage about mutton dressed as lamb. Love your site–just not this time.

I love the Anthropologie striped shirt and and shirtdress! Some of the stuff is a little juvenile for me (I’m 36), but personally I think it’s a good range. There are probably some younger readers here too.

I love that you incorporated Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters for the summer pieces. Both those stores have infinite possibilities, and the shirtdress is my favorite of the bunch!

I like the selection, but I do believe that thin strap tops and sundresses, and hoodies are geared towards a younger crowd. I know that it is “style for all”, but younger people have many outlets in which to look for fashion, where a more mature crowd does not. So for me this time around it is half hit, half miss:)
