Tulle Underwire Tank

tulle-underwire-tank_032511

Vintage French swimwear inspired this heavenly one-piece swimsuit, with its layers of sophisticated (and fast-drying) tulle. What we love is the versatility of the suit (you can remove the straps for a bombshell look) and its figure flattering cut - the layered tulle is kind to those not blessed with a washboard flat stomach. Grab this suit (or the bikini and brief version) now - it will surely sell out quickly.

(Faux) Shearling Lined Parka

fur-lined-parka_111410

Look beyond color and texture and create a look based on silhouette. We’re loving the dramatic oversized look of this faux shearling lined parka, which can serve as the star of your silhouette based look. If you live in a temperate climate, you can pair it with shorts, as seen on the model. But for colder climates, we’d recommend switching out the shorts for a close fitting pant or pair of leggings to maintain that gorgeous big-over-small silhouette.

One of the secrets to fabulous European style is the right accessories - and for fall, the de rigeur accessory is the scarf.  You’ll want a few different varieties to work into your wardrobe - a cozy circular snood for crisp cool days, a dynamic print scarf to spice up your neutrals, and a fancy sequinned scarf to pair with your evening essentials.  Here’s our six favorite scarves, each under $50:

1. Fine Gauge Fringe Scarf | $32 at Topshop

2. Marled Knit Scarf | $49.50 at J Crew

3. Sequined Circle Scarf | $12.80 at Forever 21

Games by Firelight Top

games-by-firelight-top_102710

Autumn style is all about layering - sweaters, jackets, scarves all find their place. But autumn layers need not all be heavy. In fact, we love the juxtaposition of a lightweight, gauzy top against a heavy sweater or jacket. This loosely fitting, half lace top will do the trick - just remember to slip on an extra tank underneath.

Extra bonus? This top works perfectly for Spring - so you’ll get double mileage from it.

Camo Top

camo-top_102410

Army and military styles are supremely chic for Fall 2010. We’re loving this camo print tee for its greyed out take on traditional camouflage - and for how well it pairs with straight leg and skinny jeans.

First Snow of the Season Coat

Snuggle up as the temperature drops this autumn in this pristine ivory coat. We love the funnel neckline and the the crisp military influence. What to wear with it? Try a skinny trouser pant and knee-high boots.

Facile Camp Shirt

This military inspired tunic does double duty. It pairs with casual pieces for a look that’s the epitome of relaxed, breezy chic. But it also cleans up quite nicely when paired with more sophisticated pieces, lending them an air of nonchalance.
