Fall 2008 Fashion Week Trend: Bishop Sleeves

Bishop Sleeves at Catherine Malandrino, Carolina Herrera, and Verrier.

Style tip?  We love the 3/4 bishop sleeve as seen at Verrier–much easier to wear than the full-length traditional bishop sleeve.  Wear with long gloves for maximum drama.

What do you think?  Would you wear bishop sleeves?  And if so, with what?  Share your thoughts in the comments!

I really love the look of bishop sleeves. I’ve been seeing a lot of them for the season. I actually found this really great jacket on artfulwears.com- it’s stylish and modern, with a retro twist plus has a flaired a-line cut that is figure flattering and easy to wear; you should check it out!

Ladies–watch out with this one! Bishop sleeves is a hard one. They key is proportions (i.e. full on top, skinny on bottom). It’s a killer look if you get it just right :)

Love this, but best for a full bust and smaller hips. If 3/4 sleeve, avoid if you have a wider waist.
