I think a wide black belt worn at the waist is a worthy investment for everyone. I bought an obi-style wraparound belt from Nanette Lepore, which was kind of expensive for me at $80, but it’s been one of my best purchases. I’ve used it to dress up colorful, inexpensive dresses from H&M and F21, define a waistline on a designer silk trapeze dress, put a little punk into a tank top and jeans when going out… this is to say, it’s a very versatile, useful accessory that’s worth spending a bit more on.

wow- great post. Love the different looks! I think I’m probably the Ladylike Glamour type (love the bright blue) but I like the ideas in the other 2 looks. Nice to see how easy it is to change the look.
And a wide black belt sounds good!

I recently wore mine to an event with all accessories black, a clutch with a floral print and purple heels. I love how everyone love my look. The best thing was that this is a look that doesn’t take more than 5 minutes to put together. Thank you for sharing your post!
