Hi everyone,

Ready or not, Christmas is upon us.  We’re packing up for the holidays, returning for a brand new year of fashion and style on Wednesday, January 6.

While we’re looking forward to the New Year, it’s time to start thinking about New Year’s Resolutions.  Personally, I’m resolving to do a wholesale closet cleaning to refresh my wardrobe.  Invest in new, classic-with-a-twist basics.  And push my personal style boundaries to mix things up a bit.  Who knows what I’ll try wearing this year?

Do you have any New Year’s Resolutions that you’d like to share?

Happy Holidays!

Focus on simplicity…in language, design, clothing and living..I’m inundated with the world around me through the internet, media, cell phones, mass marketing..I want more control over my physical and emotional environment by simplifying and editing…remembering that I create how I live and that I just do not respond and react to the age of fast speed information, meretricious behavior and “style”.

I’ve been restricting my shopping for a while during grad school – I’m committed to purchase things that work for me and my lifestyle, and save for pieces that will last instead of settling for poorer quality at a low price. Thinking about my purchases before leaping into them has helped me to buy things that work with what I have so there are no wardrobe orphans!

Like many people, I’m also resolving to be (spiritually, mentally, physically) healthy this year. I’m also wanting to take more pictures, connect with with family and friends more often and achieve a few career goals!

I’m all about fashion resolutions! Mine is to buy more colors and find a way to take the looks I love from the runway and make them for..everyday friendly!
