Fall 2010 Fashion Week Trend: Metallics and Shine

Style tip? Got shine? If you don’t already have metallics in your closet, go out and pick up a piece with some shine. Go all out with a cocktail dress or evening gown with head to toe shine. Or dip your toes into the trend with a dress or top with metallic detailing, such as the icicle detailing on the BCBG look. Or go bold with a shiny top - or, if you dare, pair of pants.

I love the metallic strips sandals. They are very delicates, neutrals and so easy to match. The high heels are lovely. Embroidereds tops with shine are very pretty too.

i like that dress – it’s shiny, but in a subtle way. the pants are definitely bold – you need to have some thin long legs to be able to pull that off!
